Lend Lease

Developer

Lend Lease purchased the development rights of The Wharves Deptford site in August 2014. In the UK, we are the only fully integrated provider, meaning we make long-term investments and will be involved from the design right through to construction and management. Lend Lease has one key mission statement that underpins our approach, to ’Create the Best Places’:

People:
Create a sense of place, which harnesses local heritage; provide high-quality, safe and healthy residential environments supported by the local community.
Planet: Enhance and maximise green amenity space and high-quality sustainable design.
Profit: Deliver a commercially successful legacy that delivers prosperity for the local community and uses innovative solutions to help deliver homes for local people.

Our commitment to sustainability is shown in projects such as the Athletes’ Village in London, and Jem in Singapore, both of which won recognition for their sustainable design and innovative construction. We strive to create a more enjoyable world to live in, where our homes and communities can really benefit the people that live, work and socialise within them. It’s about creating healthier environments, exceptional design, stronger communities, a sense of belonging and an improved way of life. Elephant and Castle and The International Quarter in London play a key part in Lend Lease’s legacy and ongoing commitment to environment and communities.

Aiming to make the development process accessible, help seed positive change and empower local groups committed to the long-term success of a place.
